Kirti Joshi is a trained professional who has earned her Master in Physiotherapy
(Neurosciences) from LTMM college, Sion, Mumbai. Ms. Joshi specializes in Pediatric
Physiotherapy and Women’s Health and is Certified in
- Neurodevelopmental assessment (DASII)
- Pelvic floor examination and management (level 1 and 2)
Ms.Joshi has over 15 years of clinical and academic experience, invited as faculty for multiple local, National and International conferences and workshops. Ms. Joshi’s areas of interests lie in a wide variety of fields such as Physical activity in children with disabilities, early detection and intervention of high-risk babies and Pelvic floor rehab. Involved in a number of research projects in these areas at present.
Dr. Khushboo Thakkar
Dr. Khushboo is the owner and chief consultant of Sakhi Women's Health Physiotherapy Centre, City Light, Surat with over 10 plus valuable years of experience in the field women’s health and pregnancy fitness. She is also a personal fitness trainer from K 11- Mumbai. Dr.Khushboo has been nominated and awarded for significant contribution and excellence in field of women's health physiotherapy by prestigious National Women Physiocon Conference, 2018. Dr.Thakkar is well versed in counselling, having done multiple short term courses in counselling from Vanita Vishram College, Surat and CBT - Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Pune.
Teaching and imparting knowledge has been her passion, she believes that you learn when you study but it gets imbibed in you if you teach it. She has been a guest speaker with colleges like Parul University, Ahemdabad, BITS Institute of physiotherapy, Vadodora , Government college of physiotherapy, Surat, Saveetha College of physiotherapy, Chennai, Vels college of physiotherapy , Chennai and none other her alumni college SRM college of physiotherapy , Chennai.
Dr. Khushboo at Sakhi, conducts free camp health talks and much more to bring awareness in women of all ages ,annually once to keep up the spirit of health care as a noble profession. She also has been invited as a guest speaker to bring health awareness in women by various organisations and institutions.
